Experience and background

As an expert partner, Wes frequently presents to the leadership teams of Advisory Board members. His research focuses on healthcare outcomes and economics, value-based care, and population health.

In a previous role at Advisory Board, Wes worked with health system leaders across the country helping them use Advisory Board research to solve problems. Wes holds a PhD in healthcare outcomes research from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master's in health services administration from the Medical College of Virginia, and he is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Prior to joining Advisory Board, Wes held various leadership positions in provider organizations over a 25-year career. Most recently, he was the chief of clinical operations in an academic health system.
