Forbes names its '30 Under 30' in healthcare

Forbes on Tuesday released its annual "30 Under 30 in Healthcare" list, which recognizes entrepreneurs, physicians, and scientists who are "saving lives and creating a more equitable future."

Methodology

For the list, Forbes accepted nominations from the public through an online portal. To be eligible for the 30 Under 30 list, nominees must be 29 or younger and cannot have been named to a previous 30 Under 30 list.

Nominees were evaluated by Forbes staff and a panel of independent, expert judges on several factors, including funding, revenue, social impact, scale, inventiveness, and potential. The four judges for the healthcare category were:

  • Jim Breyer, founder of Breyer Capital
  • Kate Haviland, CEO of Blueprint Medicines
  • Megan Mahoney, a physician and professor at the University of California, San Francisco
  • Stephanie Strong, founder of Boulder Care and an alumnus of the Under 30 Class of 2019

"Gen Z is one of the fastest growing groups of entrepreneurs and creators, who are reshaping the way the world conducts business, and our Under 30 class of 2025 proves that you can never begin your career journey too early," said Alexandra York, an editor of Forbes 30 Under 30. "With the expansion across AI, technology, social media and other industries, the honorees on this year's list are pushing the boundaries and building their brands beyond traditional scopes."
