Samantha Wyld is a partner and senior director in the finance and operations division of Optum Advisory. As a partner, Samantha oversees complex financial and revenue cycle-focused consulting engagements with hospitals, clinics, and health systems to improve their overall performance. Samantha also helps healthcare leaders strategically plan and prioritize areas for ongoing improvement and optimization. Samantha comes to Optum through Advisory Board, where she joined the revenue cycle team in 2008. Today she serves as one of Optum Advisory’s foremost experts across the traditional, strategic, and clinical revenue cycle, spanning access, coding and documentation, patient financial services, and regulatory/compliance aspects.
