Modern Healthcare recently released its unranked list of the "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" for 2024, recognizing 28 Advisory Board members for empowering workers "to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services."
To be eligible for the list, companies must have a physical operation in the United States and at least 25 U.S.-based full- or part-time employees. In addition, at least 50% of a company's revenue must come from the direct provision of healthcare or healthcare-related services/supplies.
Publicly and privately held businesses, as well as for-profit and not-for-profit entities that have been in business for at least one year, are eligible for consideration.
Experts from Modern Healthcare’s partner, the Workforce Research Group, determined a score for each organization using a two-part assessment. Twenty percent of an organization's score was based on an employer assessment while the remaining 80% was based on employee feedback surveys. Organizations with the top 75 scores in the provider/insurer or vendor/supplier categories were included in the list.
On Oct. 10, Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order for providers/insurers and suppliers at a Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala in Nashville, Tennessee. The rankings will also be published in an Oct. 14 magazine supplement.
Overall, 28 Advisory Board members were named on the "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" list:
