Ayah is a senior research analyst for Advisory Board’s life sciences team. Her research helps industry stakeholders strategize effective approaches to the latest innovations in healthcare. Her recent work has focused on care management, clinical innovation, digital health, and technology.
Before joining Advisory Board, Ayah conducted extensive research on health equity, women's health, disability, as well as caregiving relationships in the US, Egypt, and South Africa. She studied medical anthropology at Princeton University, the American University in Cairo (MA), and Washington University in St. Louis (BA).
Ayah brings an ecosystem approach to her research in the life sciences by integrating perspectives from payers, providers, and digital health companies. She is passionate about envisioning actionable, scalable, and equitable improvements to patient-centered care.
