Julia joined Advisory Board in 2021 as a research analyst on the Specialty Care and Consumerism research team. In this role, Julia has supported research on topics such as cancer screening strategies, trends in neurodegenerative disease, and the potential applications of artificial intelligence in oncology.
Prior to joining Advisory Board, Julia worked with the Virginia Department of Health’s COVID-19 Containment Task Force. She earned a BA in psychology and medicine, health, and society from Vanderbilt University and an MPH with a concentration in health policy, law, and ethics from the University of Virginia.
Julia examines widespread healthcare challenges through a specialty care lens. She performs literature reviews and leads interviews with industry leaders as part of her research and uses that information to create actionable content on topics such as workforce engagement, rising cost of care, and clinical integration of new technology.
