Mahaya is a consultant for Advisory Board's physician and medical group research team. She leads research on the physician landscape and industry trends for medical groups.

Previously at Advisory Board, Mahaya was as a senior research advisor, connecting members to Advisory Board resources and collaborating on projects based on members' strategic priorities. Prior to that, she worked at a firm in Washington, D.C., that convened healthcare executives around best practice sharing, working specifically with chief nurse executives and service line leaders.

Mahaya has a BS in chemistry from Spelman College and an MPH from Yale School of Public Health.
