Morghen is a senior analyst on the Advisory Board health plan research team. She offers expertise in quantitative research, qualitative research, and design thinking. Morghen’s Advisory Board research focuses on employer-sponsored insurance and strategies for cost containment and quality improvement.
Before joining Advisory Board, Morghen served as the COO of a start-up focused on food equity and nutrition. She has worked as a patient navigator, medical scribe, and midwifery assistant in both the United States and Madagascar. Morghen earned a Master of Public Health degree in Global Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College in Biology and Women’s and Gender Studies. Outside of Advisory Board, Morghen acts as a design thinking consultant supporting resiliency in rural communities. She currently lives in Durham, NC and loves cooking and spending time outside with her husband and quirky pitbull.
Morghen brings a health equity lens to all her work. A systems thinker, Morghen strives to constantly connect the dots and design better systems that produce better results for all. Driven by collaboration and a passion for process improvement, she acts as a liaison between research teams and the larger Advisory Board enterprise.
