Nurses feel like staffing is unsafe, impacting patient care

According to a survey from National Nurses United, 69% of nurses reported that staffing levels were slightly or significantly worse recently.¹ At the same time, 26.5% of respondents said they had been "floated" or reassigned to care for patients in a clinical care area that either required new skills or was outside of their competency.
